Abstract
The study of electrical properties of amorphous metals is of larger interest. In this paper the thermopower of various amorphous ferromagnets is studied as a function of temperature. In the alloys studied a non linear behaviour is found and an extremum is always observed at a T∗ temperature located at, roughly, Tc/2 (Tc = Curie Temperature). The effect of the structural relaxation is small; however a T∗ shift is noticed: T∗ increases (like Tc) after relaxation. These results are qualitatively discussed in the light of existing models.
